Few people feel comfortable in front of a camera and the secret of a good portrait is therefore to make the subject forget the presence of the camera. On the other hand, taking and keeping a pose is tiring and requires absolute vigilance. Those subjects who find it difficult to relax do however become tired during a photographic session and, after having photographed non stop, when they feel that the end is near, they relax. It is in this moment that the best photographs are taken. |
