When I have the occasion to photograph cerimonies such as weddings or other festivities, my starting point is represented by a sincere admiration towards these special days, these ‘passing rites’ where in only a few hours, the fate of an entire life is established. The preparations for the festivity, parents and friends dressed for the occasion, the ceremony. The entire setting holds its own special fascination and the only thing left for me to do is to literally document the event and not put anybody in a fixed pose. All I do is make a reportage of the day without any artificial situations, just letting the beauty of the moment speak out for itself with the least amount of interference possible.
